¶ S13 Runtime error
¶ Issue
I get the S13 runtime error while starting my wallet.
¶ Cause
Most likely your wallet.dat is corrupt.
¶ Solution
Here we will explain how to fix this error step by step:
- Close the wallet if it is still open.
- Navigate to you appdata folder. In this example we will show you how to go to the default installation folder.
a. For Windows open a windows explorer window and enter this in the address bar: %appdata% and find the folder prcycoin
b. For Mac the folder is located in/Library/Application Support/PRCYcoin - Rename the file wallet.dat to wallet.corrupt.dat.
- Go to the backups folder. You will see backup file with a timestamp behind the name. Copy one of those, I suggest the oldest, one folder up.
- Rename the file you just copied to wallet.dat, without the timestamp.
- Start your wallet again and enter your passphrase.
- It may appear unresponsive for a bit until it scans the remaining blocks. You can check this progress in debug.log
